After returning from the race we met with Uncle Ron, who was excited to take us for a tour of the local nightlife. We hit a few of the regular spots, washing down good company with good spirits. Eventually we made it back home in time to catch my cousin Kelly and her boyfriend Chris, both of whom are having some difficult times within their own spheres of life. We watched a bit of a B-movie then hit the hay.
This morning we woke reasonably early, with enough time to make it to a different Chinese restaurant for Dim Sum. We don't get Dim Sum in Portland so the obligatory brunch is mandatory when visiting the left coast. There was so much yumminess but all good things must come to an end, this time with a Chinese donut for the road. After a quick trip back to Larkspur to pack up the freshly-washed ($26!) car, it was time to say adios and hit the road for points north. The Pacific Coast Highway awaits.
