It is. Route 66 is quite the twisty route. It is indeed beautiful, but staying on it requires due diligence on the part of the driver and the navigator. Looking for mostly reliable 66 signs isn't always the best way to do it, as there are multiple different routes from different eras, but they're a welcome sight when lost. The navigator is usually relegated to switching between reading turn-by-turn directions and Waze, our road trip mapping app (try it; you'll love it) so blogging sometimes takes the back seat.
