Deanna is behind the wheel after the 1st tank of gas. Getting about 30mpg, which isn't bad for 75ish mph. Man, this is a long state. I think it's about half the distance between Maine and Detroit. So far we've managed to avoid the rain but it's not too far ahead of us. Deanna doesn't care to drive in it but I like to do so, especially in a car that has AWD and sticky tires. Or on a front-wheel-drive race car, in the rain, with a foggy windshield and no defroster, at 100mph. But that's another story.
